Anonymous asked: (Sorry for being anonymous, but I feel like I'm going to be bashed after this + sorry about possible English mistakes, I'm not a native)
I understand how you feel that cultural appropriation could be a problem, but why does everyone who writes about it seem so stuck-up and even sometimes angry?
I'm mixed-race (Eurasian) and aspects of the cultures of my two countries...

I’m used to female-presenting people looking sad and destitute. Usually crying, looking at the camera.  Snake charmers and painted faces “performing Indian dances”. So...

Anonymous asked: I wrote a peice on black inter-racism recently and I happened to stumble upon this blog and it's video on the upcoming documentary about dark skin. I'm wondering maybe if I could submit it on this blog? What are the implications?

taylormmeredith-deactivated2012 asked: This is such a gorgeous, inspiring blog and I thank you for it. :) I was just wondering if you prefer there to be a limit to the amount of photos one can submit in a day? Three photos? Two? Just let me know and I'll submit accordingly! I'm sure you'd like to think I could use my common sense, but I tend to get a bit carried away and the last thing I want is to annoy or overwhelm...
